Cameron Shaw

Research Associate

Cameron Shaw is a Research Scientist at the Center for Advancing Correctional Excellence (ACE!) and a doctoral student in Higher Education at George Mason University. She received her M.A. in English from George Mason and her B.A. in English from Christopher Newport University. Prior to joining ACE!, Cameron gained experience across various divisions of academic and student affairs and has worked at Mason since 2013.

Research Interests

Examined through organizational and intersectional feminist lenses, Cameron's research interests include interpersonal violence awareness and prevention, student activism and agency, institutional culture and power dynamics, and perceptions of loss and betrayal.
