Gabriela Ontiveros

Graduate Research Assistant

Gabriela is currently a Clinical Psychology Doctoral Student at the University of Texas - Rio Grande Valley. Her training program provides intensive instruction in the theoretical framework of psychology and broad experience in methods of practice in clinical psychology. Gabriela hopes to become a psychology scientist and practitioner that conducts research and provides professional service to minority populations.

  • Research with Emerging Adults in Community Supervision
  • Prediction, prevention, and treatment of teen dating violence and intimate partner violence
  • Cultural context of intimate partner violence and dating violence in the Rio Grande Valley
