Bryce Kushmerick-McCune

Graduate Research Assistant

Bryce Kushmerick-McCune is a doctoral student in Criminal Justice and Criminology at Sam Houston State University and a Research Assistant at the Center for Advancing Correctional Excellence. She has expertise in ethnographic observation and in-depth interviewing, and her research examines social control through both institutional and community-based approaches. She is interested in social control as it relates to all deviant behavior, with a particular focus on the social control of sexual deviance.
