Bryce Kushmerick-McCune

Graduate Research Assistant

Bryce Kushmerick-McCune, M.A. is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology at Sam Houston State University and a Research Assistant at the Center for Advancing Correctional Excellence. With expertise in ethnography and in-depth interviewing, her research examines how social control is experienced by both those subject to it and those tasked with enforcing it. She is interested in social control as it relates to all deviant behavior, with a particular focus on the social control of sexual deviance.
