Lindsay Smith

Research Associate

Lindsay is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Criminology, Law & Society at George Mason University. In her free time, she enjoys indoor rock climbing, hot yoga, and hiking with her dog. She also volunteers as a mentor for women reentering the DMV area from incarceration with Friends of Guest House.

  • Interviews and focus groups on students’ knowledge and perceptions of recently changed Title IX regulations
  • Mixed methods study of the gendered nature of external communication during incarceration
