Lindsay Smith

Graduate Research Assistant

Lindsay is a third-year doctoral student in the Department of Criminology, Law and Society at George Mason University. She currently works as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Advancing Correctional Excellence (ACE!). She also volunteers as a member of the Sexual Assault and Interpersonal Violence (SAIV) task force seeking to eradicate such violence at George Mason University.

  • Nationwide survey of problem-solving courts on the utilization of Medication Assisted (MAT)
  • Interviews and focus groups on students’ knowledge and perceptions of recently changed Title IX regulations
  • Mixed methods study of the gendered nature of external communication during incarceration
