Zil Hasmukh Shah
Research Assistant
Zil Hasmukh Shah is a Research Assistant at the Center for Advancing Correctional Excellence (ACE!) at George Mason University. With interdisciplinary training in public policy, law, and commerce, Zil’s work focuses on evidence-based correctional practices, program evaluation, research methodology, and quantitative and qualitative policy analysis. At ACE!, Zil reviews state and local probation and parole policies, evaluates agency practices against American Probation and Parole Association standards, and develops evidence matrices, comparative workbooks, reports, and research summaries to support policy and practice improvement.
